The District

The District project envisions a vibrant, walkable mixed-use community, serving as a destination for both large corporate employers and residents of North Austin and Round Rock, enriched with authentic regional amenities.

In my role as the lead designer on this project, I spearheaded the transformation of their static, print-focused branding into a dynamic digital experience. This included introducing UI elements for different states, defining interactive animations that resonated with the brand identity, and reorganizing their static brochure into an engaging landing page. My goal was to create a user-friendly solution that streamlined detailed information, making it less crowded and easier to navigate. Through these efforts, we sought to convey The District's unique offerings to its target audience effectively.

Case study

  • Get target audience interested and lease out The District.

  • The website needs to tell a story and introduce The District as a place where business thrives in Round Rock.

How to take the existing The District branding and adopt it to an interactive digital experience is the first challenge.

Introduce The District by highlighting the surrounding neighborhood, the convenience, and the space features in an interactive and engaging way.

  • Take existing static brand style guide and transfer that into an interactive digital design system.

Reorganize and consolidate the content to a user friendly interactive experience. For example: map section & floor plan section.
